GARMENT DYED is a dyeing process performed after the garment has been made—an inherently artisanal technique that may show very slight irregularities. These should not be viewed as defects, but as part of its charm, just like the surface texture and soft hand-feel that people readily describe as “vintage”.
Advantage of the process: The fabric has been heavily worked during treatment, undergoing shrinkage in both warp and weft. It can now be machine-washed at up to 35–40°C, but always wash the items separately or with similar colours to prevent colour bleeding.
